Austria Wien will face Kapfenberger SV away in the second round of the ÖFB Cup on Tuesday, September 21 at 6:30 pm.

Kapfenberg prevailed in the first cup round away at First Vienna FC with 5-3. The game, however, resembled a roller coaster ride: a brace from Matthias Puschl gave the Styrians a 2-0 lead after 37 minutes, before Mario Grgic saw the red card shortly before the break.

Immediately after the restart, Vienna first scored the 1-2, in the 56th minute the equalizer and after a good hour even the 3-2. However, the guests could equalize only a few moments later and turned the game around again in the finish. Luca Hassler and Stefan Kordic ensured promotion in the end.

Austria Wien secured their promotion with an unchallenged 4-0 win against SV Spittal/Drau. Marco Djuricin, Eric Martel, Aleksandar Jukic and Manfred Fischer ensured that things were clear in Carinthia.
