50 years of Austria in Favoriten: Toni Polster

No one scored here more often than he did. Toni Polster is a child from Favoriten, spent his youth around the corner from the Verteilerkreis, near the Groissböck. At the age of eight, Toni joined the Austria youth team. In 1982, he established himself in the team, when the venerable North Stand had just been completed at Horrplatz. From then on, Austria was a permanent fixture at the Franz Horr Stadium - and on the road to success with Toni Polster. Unforgotten to this day: top scorer 3 times in a row, Austrian champion 3 times in a row and Cup winner 1 time between 1983 and 1987.
