"I feel very comfortable at Austria and I'm in the right place here to develop myself both athletically and personally. Last season was very exciting, I learnt a lot personally and we showed that we can achieve a lot together", says Dominique Bruinenberg.

The attacking midfielder moved from her home country to Vienna in the summer of 2023 and immediately became a starter under coach Stefan Kenesei. Bruinenberg played 16 of the 18 matches in the ADMIRAL Women's Bundesliga and all five matches in the SPORTLAND Niederösterreich Women's Cup, in which the Violets reached the final. The 31-year-old scored five goals in these 21 matches.

Bruinenberg is already feeling prepared, around four weeks before the start of training for the Violet women on 8 July: "I'm ready to get back to work and take the good feeling into the new season with my team-mates and the coaching staff."

Lisa Makas, sporting director: "Dominique proved her class on the pitch last season and we are delighted that she has decided to stay with Austria for another year. With her positive and calm personality, she also contributes to the development of the team and the young players off the pitch. She can hardly wait to get going again, which shows her great ambition."
