Austria celebrates home win against Hartberg

Manfred Schmid left the successful squad from the win in Altach unchanged, with new options on the bench. Marco Djuričin was back in the match squad for the first time after his injury, Lucas Galvão was given the right to play. Vesel Demaku, Dominik Fitz, Muharem Husković, Can Keles and Florian Wustinger had to pass due to injury.

Aleksandar Jukić fired Austria into the lead

Just before the break, there were two more top opportunities for the Violets: Braunöder put the ball back to Ohio, Swete saved in the highest emergency. Shortly afterwards, Jukić broke through on the right side, but Ohio and Fischer were unable to deal with his good cross (43rd, 44th). Austria went into the break with a well-deserved lead.

Djuričin failed to beat Swete (84th) after being set up by Teigl. Lucas Galvão made his debut for Violett in stoppage time.

Austria ultimately prevailed clearly 2-0 against TSV Hartberg, a nice present for Manfred Schmid's birthday tomorrow.
