Austria in the second round against ASKÖ Oedt

Austria Wien will face ASKÖ Oedt in the second round of the UNIQA ÖFB Cup. The match will be played either from August 27-29 or September 24-26, 2024, depending on our tour in the European Cup.

The Upper Austrians won 4-2 on penalties away at VfB Hohenems in the first round. The score was 4-4 after 90 minutes, with no goals scored in extra time. Oedt became champions of the Upper Austria League in 2023/24 and were promoted to the Regionalliga Mitte.

The match date will be fixed soon in coordination with the opponent and the TV partner, but there is still some waiting to do beforehand. This is because the second round of the Cup was originally scheduled for August 27-29, but the Conference League play-off will take place on August 29. For this reason, alternative dates have been set for September 24-26. In terms of long-term planning, these dates would be decisive if the Violets advance to the third qualifying round on Wednesday.
