Austria Extends Contract with Philipp Wiesinger Through 2028

Philipp Wiesinger will remain with Austria Vienna. The center back, who joined the Violets two years ago, has extended his expiring contract by two more years, through the summer of 2028. Since his arrival in Vienna-Favoriten, the 32-year-old has been a mainstay in the defense.

Over the past two seasons, he’s shown just how valuable he is to our team with his consistently strong performances.”
