Austria Wien visited the Jewish Museum

Yesterday, Sunday, the Jewish Museum Vienna invited to the Legends Day. Austria Wien was represented by Katharina Schiechtl, Verena Volkmer and Matan Baltaxa, among others, as well as sports director Manuel Ortlechner and president Kurt Gollowitzer.

For more than three months, the exhibition Super Jews – Jewish Identity in the Football Stadium has been running at the Jewish Museum Vienna. With its long Jewish tradition, Austria Wien occupies a prominent place in the exhibition. As was the case at Legends Day on October 15, organized by the Jewish Museum Vienna in cooperation with the Fairplay Initiative and Bank Austria.

After warming up with table football and quizzing, curator Agnes Meisinger led a tour of the Superjuden exhibition and then welcomed the violet guests together with curator Barbara Staudinger. In addition to President Kurt Gollowitzer, guests included Sports Director Manuel Ortlechner, Katharina Schiechtl, Verena Volkmer, Matan Baltaxa and Johannes Dobretsberger, Head of Marketing & Sales, as well as Austria Wien legend Felix Gasselich and Pierre Lopper, son of Norbert Lopper.

After the panel discussion, the Violets were popular targets of the visitors on site, many questions were answered, photos were taken and autographs were signed.
