Austria Wien mourns the death of Christoph Daum

Christoph Daum passed away on Saturday at the age of 70 after a serious medical condition. Daum had been suffering from cancer for around two years, but always showed his fighting spirit. It was only last summer that the German visited the Violets in Vienna and was warmly welcomed.

Daum won the double with Austria Wien in 2002-03 and collected further titles with VfB Stuttgart, Beşiktaş and Fenerbahçe. Our thoughts are with his family and friends. Rest in peace, Christoph.
