The 20-year-old offensive player Silva Kani arrives from Israel on a free transfer in the summer and signs a contract with Austria Wien until the end of the 2026/27 season.
A few days after his 20th birthday on 15 May, Silva Kani signed his contract with Austria at the Generali Arena. He joins the club from the Israeli second division team Bnei Yehuda, where he scored eight goals in 25 games this season.
Sporting director Manuel Ortlechner: "Silva Kani is an exciting offensive player with a lot of potential who brings attributes that we are looking for: He likes to go one-on-one, has depth, is fast, athletic and technically strong. He was hooked on Austria Wien from the first second, was also in the stadium with us during the last derby win and experienced the great atmosphere - he is really looking forward to it."
Silva Kani: "I am thrilled to be able to play for a club with so much tradition. I'm really looking forward to playing in front of the passionate Austria fans and celebrating success together. I can't wait to get going."
