Austria Wien signs Lukas Mühl from Nürnberg

Lukas Mühl will strengthen Austria Wien's central defense with immediate effect. The 24-year-old played one season as a regular in the German Bundesliga with 1. FC Nürnberg and has almost 100 games in the second Bundesliga under his belt. Now the defender comes to Vienna-Favoriten on a free transfer.

Ten years with 1. FC Nürnberg

Lukas Mühl played for 1. FC Nürnberg from the age of 14, making the leap to the combat team at the age of 19. In 2017/18 he celebrated promotion to the German Bundesliga, in 2018/19 he was a regular against Bayern, Dortmund & Co, but 1. FC Nürnberg was relegated again. In the last two years, Mühl was also a permanent fixture in Nuremberg's central defense in the second German Bundesliga.
