Austria Wien signs Tristan Hammond

Tristan Hammond joins Austria Wien from Portuguese top club Sporting. The 18-year-old Australian can be used variably in the offense and will be another alternative in the future. The parties have agreed not to disclose the terms of the transfer.

Born in 2003 in Westmead, a suburb of Sydney, Hammond already played football in his home country and moved to Portugal with his parents at the age of 12. Since 2015, the striker played in the youth of Sporting CP, where he passed through all youth teams.

Hammond has several appearances for Australian youth national teams to his credit and participated in the U17 World Cup in Brazil in the fall of 2019. In addition to his Australian citizenship, Hammond also holds Peruvian citizenship due to his mother's country of origin.
