Matthias Braunöder has played in all of Austria Wien's youth teams since he was 9 years old. In the meantime, the 20-year-old defensive midfielder has made 31 appearances for the combat team, and in the pre-season he advanced to become an absolute regular under coach Manfred Schmid.
