Our next opponent: Breidablik

On the way to the next round of the UEFA Europa Conference League, Breidablik is building up in front of us. The Icelanders have already been in Vienna since yesterday, floating into the heart of Europe from the far north via Glasgow.

Who is the team that already has trophies in the club's showcase for a league title (2010), a cup win (2009) and two league cup wins (2013, 2015)?

According to www.transfermarkt.at, the current third in the table has a market value of €2.81 million. In comparison, we are currently rated at €16.85 million.

For the Icelanders, it is certainly not a disadvantage that they have been playing in the championship for a long time and have already completed 13 rounds since the 1st round on May 2. The most recent result was a 1-1 draw away to fourth-placed KR Reykjavík on Sunday.

In Q1, the team, which according to the database often operates in a 4-3-3 or 3-4-3, beat Racing Union from Luxembourg 5-2 on aggregate in the first and second legs.

The most expensive players in the squad are Icelander Árni Vilhjálmsson (€500,000 market value) and the only legionnaire, Dane Thomas Mikkelsen (€325,000). The coach is 47-year-old Icelander Óskar Hrafn Thorvaldsson, who has been head coach there for a year and a half.
