Florentina Satra extends her contract with the Violets

Florentina Satra will continue to play for Austria Wien in the 2024/25 season. The 18-year-old only joined the Violets last winter, but immediately earned herself a place in the team and developed into a permanent starter.

"I'm very happy to be playing another season at Austria Wien. After the summer break, I'm already looking forward to being back on the pitch with the team soon", says Florentina Satra, who will miss the first week of training with the Violets from July 8 due to her call-up to the U20 national team.

Satra played ten out of a possible twelve games for the Violets in the spring, nine of them over 90 minutes. The 18-year-old defensive player is also a regular starter in the Austrian youth national teams (U16, U17 & U19), for which she has made 33 appearances to date.

Despite her young age, she already has a lot of experience from the national team, which is another very positive aspect in addition to her footballing qualities. We are delighted to be able to start the new season with her."
