Florian Wustinger suffered cruciate ligament and meniscus tear

After a serious injury was already feared during the Fenerbahçe game, the suspicion was confirmed on Friday evening: Florian Wustinger has torn his anterior cruciate ligament as well as his outer meniscus.

This was revealed by the MRI performed by team doctor Dr. Marcus Hofbauer at the Döbling private clinic, Austria Wien's health partner.

The 19-year-old midfielder, who celebrated his starting debut in the Bundesliga against WSG Tirol the previous week and his debut in the European Cup on Thursday, will undergo surgery as soon as possible.

Good and speedy recovery, Flo!
