Früchtl, Braunöder, Schorn & Co: 14 violets called up

Christian Früchtl is in the German squad for the upcoming U21 European Championship, Anna Schorn was called up to Austria's provisional squad for the U19 European Championship in July. U21 captain Matthias Braunöder and Manuel Polster will play two test matches, ten other Austria Wien players are travelling with their national teams.

Luxembourg will face Liechtenstein on 17 June and Bosnia and Herzegovina on 20 June as part of their European Championship qualifying campaign. Team manager Luc Holtz has called up Marvin Martins for both matches.

Austria's U21 national team will play test matches against Iceland and Slovakia on 16 and 20 June, with captain Matthias Braunöder and Manuel Polster included, plus Sandali Conde and Romeo Vučić on call-up for team manager Werner Gregoritsch.

Früchtl at the EURO, Schorn with good cards

Christian Früchtl is in the EURO squad of the German U21 national team, which is preparing for the group stage in Italy. The keeper will join the team after the play-off second leg against Austria Lustenau. A final test against Switzerland is scheduled for 16 June, and head coach Antonio Di Salvo's team will face Israel (22 June), the Czech Republic (25 June) and England (28 June) at the European Championship in Georgia and Romania.

Austria's U19 women have also qualified for the European Championship. Hannes Spilka's provisional squad includes Anna Schorn from Austria Wien, Antea Batarilo is on call. After training courses in Windischgarsten and Illmitz, the squad has to be reduced by two players. Austria will play Germany (18 July), the Netherlands (21 July) and host Belgium (24 July) at the EURO.

Four Violets each in the U18 and U17 teams

The red-white-red U18 boys have a double friendly against Bulgaria (15 & 18 June). Team manager Oliver Lederer has called up four Violets in Kenan Jusić, Luca Pazourek, Dejan Radonjić and Sanel Saljić, with Fabian Janković and Nicola Wojnar on the call-up list.

Austria's U17s will meet Romania twice (14 & 16 June) with four Austria Wien players, Austria Wien legend Manfred Zsak nominated Luka Izderić, Dominik Nisandzić, Marijan Österreicher and Lars Stöckl, Jonas Überbacher is on call-up.

The Austrian U15 team will host the Netherlands in Lindabrunn (13 & 15 June), Elhadj Bah will be able to prove his skills under the watchful eye of team manager Hermann Stadler.
