Coach Elyaniv Barda (40) has been associated with the club since his youth. After ending his professional career at Be'er Scheva in 2018, he first held official positions before becoming head coach in March 2022. Barda and his club were runners-up at the first attempt and won the Israeli Cup and the Super Cup.

Hapoel Be'er Scheva plays its home matches at the Yaakov Turner Toto Stadium, which has a capacity of 16,126 fans. HaPoel is Israel's largest sports federation, which is part of the labour movement tradition and has a long rivalry with the more bourgeois Maccabi federation.
