Marriott & Austria Wien welcome all to cheesecake tasting

The Vienna Marriott Hotel is hosting the popular Cheesecake Tasting on 31 May. This time, Austria Wien is the partner of the event and will have its own cake. With the ‘Violet Cheesecake’, classic cheesecake meets a layer of violet jelly on top – in violet, of course.

The Vienna Marriott Hotel is opening its doors to all those with a sweet tooth for a very special event on 31 May. At the popular Cheesecake Tasting, guests will have the opportunity to sample various cheesecake creations. As a partner of the upcoming event, a special cake will also be dedicated to Austria: the Partner Cheesecake is a classic cheesecake topped off with a layer of violet jelly.

Six cheesecake creations

In addition to the partner cheesecake, there are five other creations for visitors to savour:

• Raspberry crumble cheesecake
• Chocolate coffee cheesecake
• Vanilla rice pudding cheesecake
• White chocolate rhubarb cheesecake
• Limoncello cheesecake
• Violet cheesecake

8,000 cheesecakes tasted

As with the previous tastings, guests will once again be able to rate the cheesecakes online on site. The winning cheesecake will then be offered in the Garten Café and as a ‘Pastry To Go’ until the next tasting. In addition to two competitions, several of our players will also be on site to represent Austria.

The fact that the event meets with great enthusiasm is shown by the results: 8,000 cheesecakes were tasted last autumn. The event is free of charge and reservations are not possible. The motto is: ‘First come, first cheesecake’. The event starts at 12:00 noon. Cheesecake fans and all those who want to become one can look forward to a sugary sweet day!
