Matteo Meisl joins SV Stripfing on loan

Matteo Meisl has been loaned to SV Stripfing until the end of the season. The 24-year-old centre-back will gain the necessary match practice at our co-operation club.

In the summer of 2018, Matteo Meisl moved from the Red Bull Academy in Salzburg to Vienna, became a top performer for the Young Violets and made the leap to the Austria Wien first team via the 2nd division. The left-footer has played 128 competitive matches for the Violets to date, 49 of them for the professional squad.

As Meisl was born before 1 January 2003, he cannot be registered as a cooperation player and will join the second division club on loan.

Now he has the chance to gain valuable match practice at our co-operation club SV Stripfing in the 2nd division.
