Members re-elected Kurt Gollowitzer as president

Kurt Gollowitzer was re-elected as Austria President by an overwhelming majority of 92.6 per cent of the ordinary members at Thursday evening's general meeting. He has been leading the cub since May 2023 and is now starting his second term, which will run until 2029.

President Kurt Gollowitzer: "I would like to thank our members for their great trust. I can promise one thing: I will continue with the same love for the club and the same energy as in the last two years and try to get Austria Wien where it belongs. I am firmly convinced that we are now very well positioned in all areas of the club to shape a successful future. Excellent work has been done in the academy and youth development areas for many years. That is why I fully support the new sporting direction – especially the focus on developing our own young players. I am particularly pleased that we have been able to count on the strong support of our fans during the past, often challenging years. With over 9,000 members, we have reached an all-time high. Communication with our fans and members remains a personal priority for me – they are the heart of Austria Wien."
