In 2016, the then 9-year-old Aleksa moved from Langenzersdorf to Vienna-Favoriten. He progressed through all of Austria's youth and academy teams. The attacker's speed became apparent early on as his greatest weapon.
Thanks to his performances in the Austria academy, Aleksa also made the leap into the Austrian youth national team and made his debut - together with Philipp Maybach, aged 16 years, 10 months and 4 days - for the Young Violets against Marchfeld Donauauen. The homegrown player made his debut for the purple-white professionals on 11 August 2024 in the home match against WAC, after which he is still fondly remembered by many Violets: After coming on as a substitute, the debutant delivered the perfect assist to Dominik Fitz following a mega sprint across half the pitch. Aleksa was then once again part of the matchday squad for the away game in Altach.
In the 2025 winter training camp, the youngster travelled with the pros to their training camp in Turkey and has been training with the pros on and off since then in consultation with the coaches and in consideration of his school education.
Sporting Director Manuel Ortlechner: ‘We're delighted that we've been able to extend the contract with our next young talent after Philipp Maybach. With his speed and depth, Konsti has skills that are in demand in modern football. We know and recognise his potential, but we want to introduce him to the professional game carefully and with a lot of patience. This means, among other things, that we take our player's schooling and physical development into consideration.’
Konstantin Aleksa: ‘The contract extension really is a childhood dream come true for me. I came to Austria as a nine-year-old boy and then had many valuable experiences and unforgettable moments. I'm proud to now be taking the next step at my club. I've been following Austria Wien's games since I was little and now I'm part of it myself, which just feels incredible.’
