Even before the Violets kick off their UEFA Conference League campaign on Thursday with the first leg of the second qualifying round away at FK Liepāja, their potential opponents for the third qualifying round have already been decided. Should Austria Wien prevail against the Latvian side in Q2, they will face the winner of the tie between AEK Larnaca FC from Cyprus and Beitar Jerusalem FC from Israel on 6 and 13 August.

The first leg would take place away on 6 August. However, should Beitar Jerusalem win, the match would be played in Romania, as the Israeli club currently plays its European Cup home matches there.
