During his active career 32-year-old Sargon Duran played amongst other for 1. SC Simmering, First Vienna FC, Tennis Borussia Berlin and SC Wiener Neustadt. At the beginning of season 2018/19 the Viennese started in the coaching team of the Lower Austrians and took over as the interim head coach for the last games in early May. His team celebrated three victories in three games.
Christian Ilzer will have Uwe Hölzl, Dominik Deutschl and Sargon Duran available as assistant coaches, while Quirin Söhnlein and Franz Gruber will remain in their positions at Austria Wien as athletic coach and goalkeeper coach.
