After their last match in the UEFA Youth League on February 26, 2014, against SL Benfica, Austria are returning to international youth competition after more than eleven years and will be playing a match on home soil for the first time. Due to the high wear and tear on the pitch and a large number of matches at the Generali Arena during the given period, the match will be played at the Austria Academy.
A total of 420 seats and 164 standing places are available for the home game, which will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis on the day of the game. To secure a seat, it is therefore advisable to arrive early at Laaer-Berg-Straße 143.
We recommend traveling by public transport. Bus lines 15A (Siedlung Südost) and 68A or 68B (Theodor-Sickel-Gasse) stop not far from the academy. If traveling by car, please note that the short-term parking zone in Vienna has a maximum parking time of two hours.

As champions of the 2024/25 ÖFB Youth League, the Violets will also compete in the UEFA Youth League in the so-called Champions Path, which runs over three rounds. The Violets will start the tournament on October 22 in the second round with a home game at the Austria Academy.
If they advance, Max Uhlig's team will face the winner of the FC Nantes vs. Sabah FK match. While Sabah won the championship in Azerbaijan, Nantes moved up as runners-up because Paris Saint-Germain had already qualified for the league phase.
The ten remaining clubs will then be grouped together with the 22 best clubs from the league phase. In the round of 32, consisting of only one match, the clubs in places 1 to 6 will face those in places 17 to 22. The clubs in places 7 to 16 will compete against the ten clubs remaining from the Champions Path. This will be followed by an open draw until the final.
