At the end of July and beginning of August, Austrian team managers Ralf Rangnick and Alexander Schriebl will hold prospective training camps. While the concept has been in place for the men's team for three years, it is now making its debut for the women's team. A total of seven Austria Wien players have been called up: Louise Schöffel and Almedina Šišić, as well as Konstantin Aleksa, Hasan Deshishku, Vasilije Marković, Philipp Maybach and Ifeanyi Ndukwe.
From 27 to 30 July, the ÖFB men's perspective training course will take place for the fourth time at the Lindabrunn Sports School. A total of 29 players born between 2007 and 2010 have been called up by team manager Ralf Rangnick and U21 coach Peter Perchtold, taking into account the suggestions of all ÖFB team managers. These include Konstantin Aleksa (born in 2007), Hasan Deshishku (2008), Vasilije Marković (2008), Philipp Maybach (2007) and Ifeanyi Ndukwe (2008).
Aleksa and Maybach were already part of the first team last season, while Ndukwe is currently completing his summer preparation under the guidance of Stephan Helm. Deshishku and Marković won the championship with the U16s in 2023/24 and with the U18s in 2024/25, while Deshishku has also already gained playing experience with the Young Violets in the Regionalliga Ost.
The five Austria Wien players – only the Red Bull Academy has more (7) – now have the chance to show what they can do in the three public training sessions in Lindabrunn and recommend themselves for more in front of the team manager. Training will take place from 28 to 30 July at 11:00 a.m. each day.
Exactly one week later, from 3 to 6 August, the perspective training course will also take place for the first time with the ÖFB women. Team manager Alexander Schriebl is inviting players to a trial in Neusiedl am See in Burgenland and will be on site with U19 coach Markus Hackl and U17 coach Patrick Haidbauer to get an impression. Among the 28 players born between 2001 and 2008, two Austria Wien players, Louise Schöffel (born in 2001) and Almedina Šišić (2006), are also included.
In addition, there is striker Alisa Ziletkina (2006), who is currently on loan to Neulengbach, and new signing Tatjana Weiss (2004), who is on standby. The squad also includes Larissa Haidner (Hamburger SV), Sophie Rapf (Eintracht Frankfurt) and Florentina Satra (USV Neulengbach), who all transferred in the summer.
The women's training sessions are also open to the public and will take place from 4 to 6 August, starting at 11:15 a.m. each day in Neusiedl am See.
