The schedule for our Generali-Arena

Construction of the pitch’s foundation with drainage and undersoil heating is starting now. For the undersoil heating, 42 kilometres of oval-shaped hoses are laid. The lawn will be sown at the beginning of April. At the end of April / beginning of May the stadium seats will be mounted on all the stands.

Current priorities at the construction site of the Generali-Arena:

- In the north/west and north/east corners, the roof is being finalized and thereby the sides of the north stand are finally closed.

- The east stand will get glass on both sides. Ulterior motive? Wind protection and improved acoustics.

- The south/east corner served as access for construction vehicles for a long time. Now the last corner of the Generali-Arena will be closed as well. At the end of March, structural work will also be finished. A gym for FK Austria Wien players and employees will be built inside.

- Interior work north and west: Business partners can already visit a model box in the north stand. Starting on Easter employees of FK Austria Wien will move to the office premises of the new north stand - via a temporary access.

- Conversion of the fan shop and extension of the Austria-Museum in the east stand

- Interior work in the south stand, especially in the dressing rooms and the media area.

In July 2018 the time has come – we will finally be home.
