Tin Plavotić verlässt Austria Wien

Tin Plavotić’s expiring contract has not been renewed. The 29-year-old centre-back will therefore leave Austria Vienna after three seasons and 79 appearances in the violet shirt. 

Plavotić joined the Verteilerkreis from SV Ried in the summer of 2023. After an initial season in which the tall defender was mainly used as a rotational player, he made his breakthrough under manager Stephan Helm. Over the last two seasons, he has established himself as a key figure in the purple defence and has been a regular in the starting line-up.

With his contract expiring at the end of June, his time at Austria Vienna has now come to an end.
