Shortly after 8:00 a.m., the Violets set off from the Generali-Arena for Bad Tatzmannsdorf. Not on the team bus were Stephan Helm and his assistant coaches, who had set off a little earlier in order to welcome the team to the AVITA Resort well prepared.

Brigitte and Harald Ertl, the Violets' kit keepers, had already arrived at Burgenland's largest spa resort on Sunday. They had 13 boxes with almost 700 kg in their luggage, so that Manfred Fischer & Co could also be well equipped away from home. A total of 26 players will be in Bad Tatzmannsdorf, including Marko Raguž and a test player.

A cautious start to an 'intensive week'

The first training session was scheduled for 11:00 a.m., a rather relaxed session to start with, although Helm announced an 'intensive but well-planned week' for his players. And so things got much busier in the afternoon and the rain became heavier, but this did nothing to dampen the good mood. After dinner, a referee course for players and coaches followed directly at the resort.

Seven more training sessions on the pitch and in the gym are scheduled from Tuesday to Saturday, plus the test matches against the Romanian club Sepsi OSK on Wednesday, July 3 at 6:00 p.m. and against the Hungarian club Paksi FC on Saturday, July 6 at 3:30 p.m. to conclude the training camp. On Wednesday the game will be played directly at the resort in Bad Tatzmannsdorf, on Saturday in Dietersdorf near Fürstenfeld.
