Three rounds before the end of the basic round, the situation in the table is extremely tense. After the two home wins against Hartberg and Altach, Austria (7th, 27 points) are just one point behind their sixth-placed city rivals (6th, 28) and three points behind Hartberg (5th, 30) and Austria Klagenfurt (4th, 30).

Coach Michael Wimmer: "It's my fifth derby, so far it's always been an energy game - it's back and forth, it's about emotion, passion, fighting & being courageous. We have to form a unit as a team together with our fans - if we manage to do that, we'll be a very unpleasant opponent. We're three games away from the end of the basic round, so any result can point the way, but regardless of how the derby turns out, I expect a fight for the championship group right up to the last matchday. But we'll stick to our game, regardless of the starting situation."

Dominik Fitz: "The derby is very important to us - Sunday is particularly important for us because we absolutely want to finish in the top six. The emotions that are always involved in derbies are something special for every player. Our fans always give us an extra boost in the derby - it feels like you have twice the energy with a crowd like that."
