The investor contract is signed

The negotiations with Viola Investment GmbH-Freunde der Austria, extended by the group of Jürgen Werner, have been concluded. The contract was signed yesterday by both sides.

After the Board of Directors has given its approval to the negotiated contracts, the signed resolution will be submitted to the General Assembly on January 17, 2022 in accordance with the Articles of Association, where the approval of the "Ordinary Members" is still required.

Gerhard Krisch: "After the good sporting developments of recent months, the signing of the contract is an important economic step for the future of Austria Wien."

The identity of the club, which turns 111 in March, will certainly remain untouched. Krisch: "Topics such as the logo, club colors and the Austria Wien brand, for example, were not an issue in our discussions and remain the sole responsibility of the club and are therefore protected forever. We have a long tradition and we are all aware of this responsibility."
