Austria celebrated a comfortable 2-0 victory at SV Ried in the 22nd round of the ADMIRAL Bundesliga. Abubakr Barry put the Violets ahead after the break, with Aleksandar Dragović following up his goal from the previous week with another. At the end of the regular season, Austria are just two points behind leaders Sturm in fourth place in the table, and the points split reduces the gap to one point.

Stephan Helm made no changes to his starting eleven for the last game of the regular season against SV Ried. Sanel Šaljić was still unavailable due to a thigh injury.
Our opponents from the Innviertel region suffered a bitter defeat at GAK the week before. Coach Maximilian Senft had to do without the suspended Philipp Pomer, with Fabian Rossdorfer taking his place in midfield. Kingstone Mutandwa returned from suspension to lead the attack, with Ried's top scorer starting in place of Peter Kiedl.
Jonas Mayer had the first chance for Ried, but his header from Oliver Steurer's cross went wide (4'). Austria responded with a good chance for Philipp Maybach, who got a shot off after a corner, but Rossdorfer cleared off the line (12'). Manfred Fischer volleyed a cross from Johannes Eggestein, but the ball went wide. In response, Samuel Şahin-Radlinger was alert to a shot from Mutandwa (23'). The duel was repeated a few minutes later, with the Austria goalkeeper again coming out on top (27'). Andreas Leitner saved a header from Reinhold Ranftl, and Abubakr Barry shot over (28', 31').
Austria had more possession in the first half and won more tackles, but the score remained 0-0 at half-time.
There were no changes at half-time, and a pass from Eggestein to Maybach in the penalty area did not go as planned (48'). In the 56th minute, the Violets took the lead: a shot from Manfred Fischer was blocked, Abu Barry got the ball, pushed through energetically and scored the 1-0 for Austria.
Ried had a good chance to equalise immediately afterwards, but Nicolas Bajlicz shot narrowly wide from a good position (59'). Stephan Helm brought on Vasilije Marković for Manni Fischer in the 65th minute, who made good use of Barry after winning a high ball. The Gambian narrowly missed (68'). Leitner prevented an own goal by Oliver Steurer (71'). After the resulting corner, Taeseok Lee delivered the ball perfectly into the middle, where Aleksandar Dragović got on the scoresheet for the third time in just seven days, making it 2-0 in the 73rd minute.
Marković broke through well but was ultimately denied by Leitner (74'). Marijan Österreicher and Johannes Handl came on for Reini Ranftl and Philipp Maybach. Marko Raguž and Romeo Vučić replaced Jojo Eggestein and Abu Barry.
The Violets ultimately deserved their 2-0 win in Ried and celebrated their sixth victory in their last nine away games.
