2-2 at home against Altach

Muki Husković put Austria ahead, but Altach equalised through Mike Bähre from the penalty spot. Shortly before the end of the game, Fisnik Asllani gave the Violets the lead again, but Lukas Fadinger equalised shortly afterwards to make it 2-2. Austria are now unbeaten in 14 games at the Generali-Arena, but will have to settle for a point.

Johannes Handl and Lucas Galvão returned to the team, starting in central defense alongside Tin Plavotić. Otherwise, head coach Michael Wimmer left his starting eleven unchanged. Marvin Potzmann was back in the squad for the first time since his adductor injury in February.

Pascal Estrada made his Bundesliga debut for SCR Altach, while Gustavo Santos started in place of Atdhe Nuhiu. Another debutant, Alexander Eckmayr, replaced the injured Tobias Schützenauer in goal.

Husković scored to take the lead, a penalty led to the equalizer

Little happened for a long time in the Generali-Arena, which was once again well attended, but the game picked up pace from the 25th minute onwards. Dominik Fitz sent Andreas Gruber on his way with a great pass, who hit the bar from an acute angle. The ball came from Frans Krätzig to Muharem Husković, who gave Austria a 1-0 lead. A short time later, Lucas Galvão cleared the ball in his own penalty area and then touched Lukas Fadinger. Play continued and two minutes later, referee Jakob Semler awarded a penalty after an on-field review. Mike Bähre did not miss the chance to equalize, Christian Früchtl had no chance (31').

A shot from Husković was held by Eckmayr, Manfred Fischer shot over (37', 42'). The game went into the break at 1-1.

Asllani scored to regain the lead, Fadinger equalized shortly afterwards

There were no changes at half-time, Husković's first shot was blocked (49'). Moritz Wels sent Reinhold Ranftl on his way, but he was fouled by Mohamed Ouedraogo and the free-kick came to nothing (54'). Christian Gebauer, who had come on as a substitute a few seconds earlier, narrowly missed the far corner after a counter-attack (59'). Krätzig saved from Jan Jurčec after a quickly taken free-kick (60').

In the 70th minute, Manuel Polster came on in place of Moritz Wels, with Frans Krätzig moving into the middle. A short time later, Michi Wimmer brought on fresh strikers in the shape of Fisnik Asllani and Romeo Vučić. Gruber and Husković left the pitch. After a corner kick, a volley from Fischer flew just wide of the goal (82').

The Violets' efforts were rewarded in the 85th minute when Fisnik Asllani scored again for Austria after a long pass from Galvão. But the joy was short-lived. The Violets were lucky with a shot off the bar from Jurčec, and a minute later Lukas Fadinger made it 2-2.

Marvin Potzmann was delighted to make his comeback in the 90th minute, but in the end it was a disappointing draw against SCR Altach.
