The Cologne-based player has already had the opportunity to showcase her talent at major clubs in her past. Gasper played for Bayer Leverkusen and Turbine Potsdam in the German Bundesliga. Now she has made the move to Portuguese champions Benfica, where she will start training this Friday.

Austria Wien wishes Anna all the best and much success on her way!

Anna Gasper: "I'm very happy that I can use the opportunity to develop myself both football-wise and privately. I would also like to thank Austria Wien. The fact that I was able to make the move to Benfica Lisbon through my time here in Vienna is something I really appreciate."

Lisa Makas, sporting director: "For us, the departure of Anna is of course a great loss, both sporting and human. At the same time, we are happy that the direction in which Austria Wien is developing is right and that our players are noticed by a big club like Benfica. We wish Anna the best of luck in her future career!"
