President Kurt Gollowitzer reported on ...

... the sale of the stadium to the City of Vienna: ‘The City of Vienna secured a right of first refusal for our stadium back in 2016. After there were several interested parties, including from abroad, City Councillor Peter Hacker in particular insisted that our stadium remain in Viennese hands. The City of Vienna has commissioned an expert opinion, the results of which, and therefore the purchase price, will ideally be available in the coming days. We assume that the stadium sale will be finalised in the near future.’

... the increase in members and fans: ‘We currently have around 8,400 members, around 8,100 season ticket holders and welcome an average of 12,500 fans to the Generali-Arena every match. These are figures that are very, very pleasing. The most positive thing I notice is that I see a lot of children and families in the stadium when I'm in the stands on match days. I'm delighted about that, because the many children are our loyal fans of tomorrow. And Austria Wien stands for safe stadium attendance.’

... the sporting success of the team: ‘I'll be honest, I personally didn't expect such a successful run. I'd like to thank sporting executive Jürgen Werner, sporting director Manuel Ortlechner, the entire coaching team led by Stephan Helm and the whole team - they're doing a great job everywhere. We are in a really strong position in the Bundesliga and also have a great chance to reach the final in the cup with our home match against Hartberg.’

Sporting performance

In the presence of sporting executive Jürgen Werner, sporting director Manuel Ortlechner reported on the extremely pleasing standings and performances of all the Violet teams. Starting with the Violet women and girls, through the Young Violets and the academy to the men. The number of call-ups to the Austrian youth national teams increased last year and the Violet youth coaches were praised by the ÖFB. At our co-operation club SV Stripfing, a lot has happened over the winter and we are optimistic going into the spring.

Economic balance sheet

CEO Harald Zagiczek presented the annual financial statements of FK Austria Wien and the Group (Verein & AG) for the financial year from 1 July 2023 to 30 June 2024 on the basis of the auditor's report and concluded by thanking the entire administrative team for their work.
