‘The decision to extend my contract at Austria was very easy for me. I feel very comfortable here and we have undergone enormous development in the last two years, which is not yet complete. The international starting place is a huge motivation and definitely an incentive to become even better and stronger. I'm already looking forward to the coming season,’ explains Lena Triendl.

The 25-year-old attacking player has been playing for the Violets since 2023, immediately became a regular starter and is Austria's second-highest goal scorer in the current ADMIRAL Bundesliga season with six goals behind Verena Volkmer. The speedy Tyrolean with experience from the German Bundesliga has a total of eleven goals and seven assists in 47 Austria games.

‘Proud and confident’

Schöffel also moved to Austria Wien in the summer of 2023 and soon played her way into the violet starting eleven. The 23-year-old was featured much more offensively than in her first season for the Violets in 2024/25 and scored one goal and contributed four assists in 23 matches in the current ADMIRAL Bundesliga season. In total, Schöffel, who impresses not only with her speed but also her strong physique, has made 48 appearances in the violet jersey.

Louise Schöffel: ‘I feel very comfortable at Austria, both on a sporting and personal level, which is why I didn't have to think long about extending my contract. The joint successes and the way we have mastered the season so far as a team make me very proud and at the same time confident for the next season. I'm really looking forward to being part of this club in the future and achieving further goals together.’
