Austria starts Q2 of the UEFA Europa Conference League

With their play-off win over TSV Hartberg, Austria Vienna have secured their final ticket for next season's European Cup. The Violets will start in the second qualifying round of the UEFA Europa Conference League. The first leg will take place on 25 July and will also mark the start of the 2024/25 season.

It will be interesting for Austria Vienna for the first time on 19 June when the draw for the second qualifying round is made. As the seeded team, the Violets will either be drawn against a paring from Q1 (match dates: 11 & 18 July) or an opponent who will also enter Q2.

The first leg will take place on Thursday, 25 July, ahead of the first round of the 2024/25 Cup, which the Violets will play on Sunday, 28 July. The second leg will then take place on Thursday, 1 August, which also means that Manfred Fischer & Co will kick off the new Bundesliga season on Sunday, 4 August.

In the event of promotion to the third qualifying round, the competition would continue directly on 8 and 15 August, with the draw taking place on 22 July and thus before the Q2 first leg.
