The Violets won their mini-tournament in the second qualifying round with a confident 2-0 victory over Glasgow City and a 3-0 win over FC Minsk. Now they face Paris FC in Q3. Last season, the French team finished third in the Premiere Ligue.
While the second qualifying round was still structured as a mini-tournament with semi-finals, finals and a match for third place, the third qualifying round now consists of a classic home and away match. The Violets will first play in Paris on 11 September, followed by a home match in Vienna at the Franz-Horr-Stadion on 18 September. The winner of Q3 will secure a place in the league phase of the UWCL, while the loser will enter the second qualifying round of the new UEFA Women's Europa Cup.
Further information on tickets and kick-off times will follow shortly.
