‘I am very happy to be back in Austria and want to give the club the best possible support here. After my injury, I need to regain stability in my game and get back to my top level for myself and the team. The Champions League is a highlight right at the start, which we want to master satisfactorily so that we can then attack the championship,’ says Jasmin Pal.

The goalkeeper played in the youth ranks of FC Wacker Innsbruck in her younger years and made it into the first team there. She gained her first experience abroad in 2015 with the then German second division club BV Cloppenburg, but returned to Austria after a year. In 2020, she made the move to Germany again, where Pal played for SC Sand in the Women's Bundesliga. In January 2020, the regular goalkeeper there suffered a knee injury and had to take a long break.

After working on her comeback for a year, the Tyrolean made it into the Austrian national team squad for the European Championship in England in the summer of 2022. Pal has been playing for 1. FC Köln since the 2022/23 season.

Stefan Kenesei: ‘With Jassi, we are gaining one of the best goalkeepers in Austria. She has proven both internationally and in the national team that she can perform at the highest level. We are very pleased that she was convinced by our overall concept and look forward to a successful collaboration with another senior international player!’
