The sporting balance after the first four rounds could of course be better with two points, but the atmosphere was already great. Sporting director Manuel Ortlechner after the 1-1 draw against Austria Klagenfurt: "The support in the entire arena was top and very positive. The flag choreo was also impressive, showing an atmospheric togetherness of the East stand."

It's a pity that it wasn't enough for victory in the end. "I'm particularly sorry for all the stadium visitors who kept their fingers crossed for us. There was a great atmosphere in all the stands for 90 minutes, especially in these difficult times, which shows how strong the cohesion is. We appreciate that very much and know exactly how valuable our fans are to the club," added board member Gerhard Krisch.

In the run-up to the match, KAI 2000 organized a successful event for all children and young people, which the fan club itself financed from the proceeds of completed memberships. In a penalty shootout - against ex-Austria keepers Bartolomej Kuru and Matijas Schreiber - free tickets and annual subscriptions were raffled off. Krisch: "This action commands our special respect, for which we also deserve extra praise."
