Dominik Fitz signs early extension until 2026

Dominik Fitz has been an Violet for 15 years, going through every team of the Violets since the age of seven and making the jump to the pros early on via the Young Violets. The 22-year-old has already played 79 games for the team (13 goals/15 assists) and has now extended his contract with his heart's club until 2026.

Sporting director Manuel Ortlechner: "For me, Dominik Fitz is a parade Violet who has made a long-term commitment to the club in what has not been an easy time for him. He is a player who has already proven that he can make the difference, he is always good for special moments. Recently he has had to deal with injuries and setbacks, we hope he will come out of this phase stronger and give us a lot of joy in the future."

Dominik Fitz: "I've been a Violet all my life, for 15 years, I can't imagine playing anywhere else. Therefore, it is even more special for me to sign a long-term contract. I'm very happy and I can only say thank you for the appreciation and support the club has shown me. It gives me a very good feeling."
