Florian Mader: "The decision was not easy for me, but family comes above everything. It was an eventful, intensive year in which I was able to gather many great experiences. I'm convinced that Austria's chosen path is the right one and I'm pleased that I was able to play my part in it."

Sporting Director Manuel Ortlechner: "We were all very happy with the work of Florian Mader. Unfortunately, he has to change professionally for private reasons, we respect that. No matter what Florian Mader will attack in football in the future, those responsible will be happy with his work. I would like to thank him for his commitment and wish him all the best for the future."

Austria Wien as a club agrees with this: We wish Florian Mader both privately and professionally only the best and much success!

Starting in the summer, Manuel Takacs will take over the position of Academy Director at Austria Wien. The 36-year-old is currently head of the academy at LASK and head coach of FC Juniors OÖ.
