115 years of club history, 100 years of FAK. To mark our anniversary year, we are unveiling the new home and away kits in collaboration with our partner Macron. Under the motto “Carrying history into the future”, the new kit links our 115-year history with a commitment to visibly uphold the values of Austria Wien for future generations, both on and off the pitch. Purple and white, since 1911. Born at the Urania. Matured in Vienna’s Favoriten district. Shaped by successes, mistakes, legends and ups and downs. Our club was founded 115 years ago. 100 years ago, the Wiener Amateur-Sportverein (WAS) became Fußballklub Austria Wien (FAK). Two anniversaries that symbolise a distinctive identity, a passion lived out in full, and a community that connects generations. The new kit links precisely these roots with everything that lies ahead of us.

For us, history is not merely a look back. It is the foundation upon which we shape our future day by day, and the soil in which our violets bloom.

Historic club crest, Urania and honorary captains

With carefully chosen retro elements, the new home and away kits bridge the gap between history and the future. The historic club crest serves as a reminder of our roots, whilst the striking Urania bands down the centre of the kit bring together the five club logos spanning 115 years of the club’s history – a visible symbol of our journey through time. The distinctive lines are reminiscent of classic Austria jerseys and lend the design an authentic retro feel.

On the back of the neck, the words ‘Fußballklub Austria Wien’ stand confidently, representing what we have stood for for generations. On the waistband of the shirt, the names of our five honorary captains – ‘Hussak, Nausch, Fiala, Sara, Prohaska’ – immortalise the figures who have shaped our history.

The new anniversary shirt is presented by people who represent Austria Vienna and carry on the club’s history both on and off the pitch: from young talent to a long-serving Austria player, from a legendary physio to a double winner, from a home-grown player to a key player. This is ECHT. AUSTRIA.
