Husković & Co: 13 violets on the road with Austria

Muharem Husković appears on the call-up list of the Austrian national team for the first time. The U21 team, with captain Matthias Braunöder, Husković and Manuel Polster, will play a test match and a game in the European Championship qualifiers. In addition, the Violets field three players in the U19s and six talents in the U18s.

Austria's U21 national team will face Slovenia on October 17 in Murska Sobota in the third match of the European Championship qualifiers. A friendly international against Norway is already scheduled for October 12 in Hartberg. In addition to captain Matthias Braunöder, Muharem Husković and Manuel Polster are also on the team, Romeo Vučić and Moritz Wels appears on the call-up list.

Muki is also on call with team boss Ralf Rangnick for the two matches against Belgium and Azerbaijan.

Nine violets in U19 & U18

The Austrian U19 team starts into the first round of the European Championship qualification, which will be played as a short group tournament. The Austrians' opponents are Wales (11.10.), hosts Montenegro (14.10.) and England (17.10.). Team manager Oliver Lederer has called up three Violets in Kenan Jusić, Luca Pazourek and Dejan Radonjić, while Sanel Saljić is on the call-up list.

Luka Izderić, Petar Marković, Dominik Nišandžić, Marijan Österreicher, Lars Stöckl and Marcel Stöger, as well as women's coach Stefan Kenesei as match analyst, were in Hungary with the U18 team led by coach Manfred Zsak.

Austria won the test match, which was already played today (Wednesday), 3-2, with Österreicher scoring the goal to make it 3-1. Nišandžić played 90 minutes, Marković, Stöckl and Österreicher were in action until minute 56, Izderić and Stöger from minute 56.

With Julian Höller and Romeo Mörth, as well as Hasan Deshishku and Devran Gündük, are two Austrians on call-up for the U17 and U16 national teams, respectively.
