Kunina and Haidner called up to national teams

New signing Nadiia Kunina is in the Ukrainian national team's line-up for the upcoming World Cup qualifying matches. Goalkeeper Larissa Haidner will travel to Portugal with the Austrian U19 national team for three friendly internationals.

Lluís Cortés called up 22-year-old Nadiia Kunina for the last two matches of the World Cup qualifiers. Ukraine will play the last-placed Faroe Islands in Tórshavn on 2 September and the already determined group winners Spain in Madrid on 6 September. Kunina & Co no longer have a chance to qualify for the play-offs.

Also on the road from 29 August to 7 September will be the red-white-red U19 national team under the leadership of former Austria Wien coach Hannes Spilka. Goalkeeper Larissa Haidner has been called up to the squad for the test matches against Finland (31 August), Portugal (3 September) and Denmark (6 September).

With Antea Batarilo, Jovana Cavić, Jeannine Grosskopf and Anna Schorn, four other Violets are also on call.
