Leidner, Martins & Co: 18 Violets called up

Doron Leidner and Marvin Martins have been called up for Israel and Luxembourg's upcoming European Championship qualifiers at the end of March. With Matthias Braunöder, Dario Kreiker and Manuel Polster, three Austria Wien players are in the domestic U21 squad, Christian Früchtl is nominated for the German U21 team. Twelve other Violets are on the road with youth teams.

On 23 March, one day before Austria, Luxembourg will start the qualification for the 2024 European Championship in Germany. Marvin Martins has been called up by team manager Luc Holtz for the games against Slovakia and Portugal. Also joining the team will be Doron Leidner, who will face Kosovo and Switzerland with Israel under coach Alon Hazan, also in the opener of the European Championship qualifiers.

Austria's U21 national team will hold a training camp in Turkey at the end of March, where they will test their skills against Poland and Moldova. Team manager Werner Gregoritsch has nominated three Austria Wien players, Matthias Braunöder, Dario Kreiker and Manuel Polster. In addition, Sandali Conde, Armand Smrcka and Romeo Vučić are on call.

Christian Früchtl is preparing for the European Championship in the summer with the German U21 national team. Head coach Antonio Di Salvo's team will play test matches against Japan and European Championship host Romania.

Martin Pečar is on the road with the Slovenian U21 team, Ibrahima Dramé was called up in the U23 squad of Senegal.

Many players in the U18s & U17s

Three Violets are also in the U18 squad for the upcoming Four Nations Tournament in Portugal. Kenan Jusić, Luca Pazourek and Dejan Radonjić will face Finland, Georgia and the hosts. Fabian Janković and Nicola Wojnar were put on the call-up list by coach Oliver Lederer.

The red-white-red U17 national team will not play a test match, but hold a training camp. Team manager and Austria legend Manfred Zsak nominated Luka Izderić, Dominik Nisandzić, Marijan Österreicher and Lars Stöckl for the training course, plus Luka Makrisević and Jonas Überbacher are on call-up.

U16 goal scorer in demand in Poland

Michael Izunwanne was pleased to be called up to the Polish U16 team. The attacker, who has scored eight goals in his last three matches for our U16 team, will play against Luxembourg, South Africa and Northern Ireland in a UEFA Development Tournament under coach Rafał Lasocki.

Like the U17s, the Austrian U15 team will also hold a training camp in Turkey. Team manager Hermann Stadler will keep a closer eye on the two Austria Wien players Hasan Deshishku and Vasilije Marković. Elhadj Bah and Divine Ogunfojuri are on standby.
