Austria celebrated their first win in the qualifying group at second-placed Wolfsberg and extended their lead over the Lavantal side to four points. Andreas Gruber scored the decisive goal in the 11th minute. WAC were unable to threaten Austria, partly due to a yellow card against Thierno Ballo in the second half.
