Austria Wien will be playing away at Grazer AK in Styria on Sunday at 5 p.m. as part of the first round of the ADMIRAL Bundesliga. After their successful performance in Tbilisi, the Violets are eager to continue their winning streak in the Bundesliga, which coach Stephan Helm & Co are already looking forward to. ‘The anticipation is great,’ says sporting director Manuel Ortlechner.

Immediately after landing on time at Vienna International Airport, the team made their way back to the Generali Arena, where regeneration training was on the agenda. The final training session will take place on Saturday afternoon before Austria sets off for Graz. "Advancing in the Conference League has given us a lot of positive energy. Since landing, our entire focus has been on the Bundesliga kick-off, which we are really looking forward to," said Stephan Helm.
His team performed well in Tbilisi, ‘and we want to build on that.’ Manuel Ortlechner was also satisfied after the 5-0 away win at Spaeri FC: ‘The team responded superbly in Georgia, which makes me happy and puts me in a positive frame of mind.‘ The same goes for the next task, which will not be an easy one against GAK, as the sporting director explains: ’We know what to expect in Graz. It's not an easy task there, but we are confident that we can deliver a good performance.’
There is great anticipation for the ADMIRAL Bundesliga – not only among the coaching team and players, but also among the fans. 800 tickets have already been sold for the guest sector and will be available at the fan shop in the Generali Arena until Saturday evening (8 p.m.). On Sunday, they will be available at the guest ticket office in Graz.
‘We know GAK and are aware of their strengths. They have a very clear structure in their game, put a lot of pressure on the ball, but also have their ideas with the ball,’ says Helm, who knows the Reds from Graz well. ’It's clear that we want to perform at our best against GAK and bring our game to the pitch in order to go home with a positive result. We will do everything we can to get off to a good start in the Bundesliga.’
