Framework schedule for the 2024/25 season
The schedule for the next 2024/25 season was decided at the club conference. The first round of the ADMIRAL Bundesliga will not take place until the first weekend in August (2-4 August) due to the European Championship (14 June - 14 July 2024), with the first round of the Cup scheduled for the weekend before (26-28 July). The exact match dates for the remaining five rounds of the basic round of the current season will be finalised at the start of next week.

The most important key dates of the schedule at a glance:
- The later start dates of the Cup and the championship mean that the first leg of the second qualifying round of the European Cup on 23/24 July will be the first competitive match of the new season for some clubs.
- For the first time since the reform, the 32 championship rounds will be divided into 16 rounds each in autumn and spring (without play-off).
- The final of the basic round in spring now comprises 6 matches.
- Due to the new league format in the European Cup, the Champions and Europa League clubs must play two matches in January before their first national fixture.
- The division into championship and qualifying groups will take place around the international break in March
- The UNIQA ÖFB Cup final will be played on 1 May
- The championship finals of both leagues will take place on the weekend of 23-25 May.
- The last international ticket will be played in the European Cup play-off from 26 May to 1 June.
