On Monday, 23 June, Stephan Helm will welcome his team back to the training facilities after the summer break. Over the following four weeks, Austria Wien will prepare for the new 2025/26 season, playing six friendly matches and completing a training camp before their first competitive match on Thursday, 24 July.

After a few days off, the Violets started their home programme at the beginning of June to stay fit and get the best possible start to their preparations for the new season. After the first training sessions and tests, a double test match will take place in Kobersdorf on Saturday, 28 June. Austria will face ASKÖ Kobersdorf (II. Liga Mitte, 5th division) and Mattersburger SV (Burgenlandliga, 4th division) in Kobersdorf, with each match lasting 60 minutes.
The following week, Manfred Fischer & Co will head to the AVITA Resort in Bad Tatzmannsdorf, as they did last year, to prepare even more specifically. At the end of the training camp, the Violets will face Bohemians Prague, who finished tenth in the Czech league in 2024/25, in Bernstein in Burgenland on Saturday, 5 July.
On Wednesday, 9 July, they will face Floridsdorfer AC in Unterstinkenbrunn, before testing away against SC/ESV Parndorf, champions of the Burgenlandliga and promoted to the Regionalliga Ost, as well as the former club of coach Stephan Helm, on Saturday, 12 July. On Friday, 18 July, the big season opener will take place at the Generali Arena, with all the details to follow.
The first competitive fixtures of the new season have also been confirmed. On Thursday, 24 July, the first leg of the second qualifying round of the UEFA Conference League will take place, with the return leg a week later. The draw will take place on Wednesday, 18 June. In between, on Sunday, 27 July, Austria will compete in the first round of the ÖFB Cup, and on Sunday, 3 August, the Violets will kick off the new Bundesliga season.
