During the winter break, Austria Wien will prepare for the spring on the Turkish Riviera, among other places. The training camp with two international test matches will take place from 8 to 17 January, after the return there will also be two tests in Vienna.
The Violets have been on winter holiday since 9 December and are coming to rest after an intensive few weeks. After some relaxation and with recharged batteries, the home programmes of the Violet athletics coaches Christian Balga and Daniel Gangl will start. Reinhold Ranftl & Co are expected back at the Generali-Arena on 4 January 2025 when they return to the pitch.
From 8 to 17 January, Austria will be at a training camp in the province of Antalya, where they will also play two test matches. On 11 January, they will face NŠ Mura from Slovenia and on 16 January Serbian Conference League participant FK TSC.
Back at home, the team will be test twice on 25 January: Admira will visit Austria's training ground in the morning and Wiener Sport-Club will come to Favoriten in the afternoon. On the same evening, the Violet Ball presented by Koppensteiner Schadenlogistik will take place at the Marriott Hotel, where the Violets will of course be in attendance.
Exactly one week later, on 1 February, the Violets will face Sturm Graz in the Cup quarter-finals. And a further week later, Stephan Helm's team will once again visit Graz for the 17th round of the Bundesliga.
